Free Parenting Speaker Series Returning To Comox

Free Parenting Speaker Series Returning To Comox

Parents and caregivers in the Comox Valley are being invited to learn, connect and access practical resources through a free speaker series returning this fall.

The sessions are designed to offer support on topics that matter most to families, from managing everyday stress to building stronger communication at home. Organizers say the goal is to create a welcoming space where people can ask questions, share experiences and leave with tools they can actually use.

Each event will feature a guest speaker with experience in child development, family wellbeing or related fields. Talks will be followed by open discussion, giving attendees a chance to talk through challenges and hear from others in similar situations.

The series is open to parents, grandparents, foster caregivers and anyone helping to raise a child. No registration fee is required, and childcare information will be available closer to the start date.

Organizers note that past events drew a mix of first time attendees and returning participants, with many saying the informal setting made it easier to open up. This year's lineup aims to cover both new concerns and longstanding questions families continue to face.

A full schedule and venue details are expected to be shared in the coming weeks. Those interested are encouraged to watch for updates from local community boards and family service providers.
